Marjorie Willison Obituary

Marjorie F. Willison CHESAPEAKE - Marjorie Fern Willison, 77, of the 3200 block of Walden St., died Feb. 25, 2009, in her residence. A retired Navy wife and homemaker, she lived in Chesapeake for more than 40 years and was a member of South Norfolk Church of Christ. She always looked forward to the changing of the seasons with great anticipation and loved her grandbabies and gardening - a little piece of heaven here on earth! Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Kenneth F. Willison; three daughters, Deborah Baldwin of Campbell, N.Y., Tonya Baines and Patricia Taylor and her husband, Allen; and son-in-law, Wesley Taylor, all of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren; 15 ½ great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leaman Andrew and Ethel Florence Chalfant; a sister, Edna Ruth; a brother, Walter L. Chalfant; and her youngest daughter, Marjorie Fern Taylor. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, with the Rev. John Keane officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Please share a memory with the family and view the service online via live webcam at www.grahamfuneralhome.com.
