Michael Boyce Obituary

Michael J. Boyce VIRGINIA BEACH - Michael Joseph Boyce, 78, passed away March 3, 2009, in Sentara Bayside Hospital after a year-long illness. He graduated from Norview High School and retired from Kraft General Foods. He loved NASCAR and Ricky Rudd. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys, as well as Notre Dame where his father, Patrick Boyce, graduated. He was a great husband and father who supported his sons through their wrestling and baseball years, who made him very proud. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly A. Boyce; his sons, Jeffery Boyce and Michael P. Boyce; his granddaughter, Cristina; and his grandson, Bryan. There will be a memorial service Sunday at 3 p.m. in Holland Road Baptist Church on Euclid Road, Virginia Beach. Family, friends and church family will eat and socialize in the church social hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the HRBC Building Fund.
