Billie Eatmon Obituary

Billie E. Eatmon VIRGINIA BEACH - Billie Ellen Eatmon, 84, wife of the late Wiley A. Eatmon, passed away March 5, at Sentara Leigh Hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Wilson, N.C. She was a member of Elizabeth River Baptist Church and retired from civil service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Berkley Chapter No. 52, Opals (Older People With Active Lifestyles), Lighthouse Pointe Sewing Circle and a past member of Tidewater Quilter's Guild. Survivors include one son, Ron Eatmon and wife Joyce of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Diane Gwin and husband Jimmy of Chesapeake and Kaye Renaud and husband Mark of Fayetteville, N.C.; six grandchildren, John Holland Gwin, Shea Eatmon, Cameron Eatmon Cunningham and husband Todd, Aaron Gwin and wife Jenni, Danielle Gwin Reese and husband Earl and Corey Renaud; three great-granddaughters, Cayman Gwin, Madeline Cunningham and Briella Gwin; one sister, Francis Edwards of Virginia Beach. She will also be missed by many of her nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends in Woodlawn Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Virginia Beach Boulevard Saturday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make donations to Elizabeth River Baptist Church, 601 Sparrow Road, Chesapeake, VA 23325 or to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
