Adaline Brice Obituary

Adaline E. Brice CHESAPEAKE - Adaline E. Brice, 74, of Sparrow Road, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009, in a local hospital. Born in Conway, S.C., she was retired as a director of The Naval Supply Center for the U.S. government. She was an active member of Indian River Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday school class. Adaline is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, William B. Brice; two stepdaughters, Deborah Perry and husband Gregg and Tammy Brice; two grandchildren, B. J. Radford and Gregg Perry Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Mariah Perry, all of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by a nephew, Tommy and four nieces, Melissa, Judy, Jeanette and Gwynn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Adaline Elliott; her beloved brother, Frank Elliott and sister-in-law, Leigh Elliott. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Sunday, June 21, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Indian River Baptist Church, 1600 Laurel Ave., Chesapeake, VA 23325. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
