Anna Stretar Obituary

Anna M. Stretar CHESAPEAKE - Anna M. Stretar, 79, passed away June 17, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Vincinzo and Liboria Canizza Pistone. Anna was a former member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Anna was predeceased by her two brothers, Frank Pistone and Guytono Pistone. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald; her daughter, Kathy C. Hamilton and her husband Edward; her six sons, Leslie and Bernard Cadden, Ronald D. and his wife Patricia, Anthony, Darrell and his wife Heather, John and his wife Michelle Stretar. Also surviving are her six grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, 524 Cedar Road Chesapeake. The Rev. Charles Moseley will officiate. The viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
