Nancy Weber

Nancy R. Weber PORTSMOUTH - Nancy Rich Weber died June 19, 2009, at age 72. She was a longtime resident of Cradock, and partner of Chilton Shorter for 28 years. She was the mother of Dianna Weber Mills and Duane R. Weber Jr., and also survived by son-in-law, Raymond Mills; daughter-in-law, Christine Weber; granddaughters, Karen Mills and Sarah Weber; and brother, Hollis Rich and his wife Marsha. She was involved in Brownies, Cub Scouts, Little League, establishing a mixed hard ball league at Gosport field, and a Cradock band parent. In the community, she was active in church, civic groups and block watch. A memorial visitation will be held in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
