Shannon Kottke Obituary

Shannon Mae Kottke VIRGINIA BEACH - Shannon Mae Kottke, 68, passed away peacefully June 19, 2009, in the comfort of her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Shannon was born Oct. 21, 1940, to the late Lucy Mae Clark in Washington, N.C. She was employed by Kimnach Ford. Shannon loved NASCAR, fishing, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Linda West and husband Donald; three nephews, Donald (Della), Jeb, and Bryan (Katie) West; a great-niece, Amy West; and three great-nephews, Jared, Bryan Jr., and Jayson West. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, in Rosewood Memorial Park.
