I am a VSU graduate, and while I did not know him, I worked with you in Chesapeake and saw you often when you worked in Charles City when I worked at the VA Dept. of Education. As you know, I have known Howard and the family almost all my life. By reading the guest book expressions and by speaking to friends and family...I am more convinced than ever...Howard is leaving a lasting and loving impression on us all! Howard is my brother and friend and I will miss him dearly, but to God be the Glory!

Mrs. Zimmerman and family. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. I am also a Cox employee and worked with Howard for over 4 years. I enjoyed everyday I worked with him and our conversations over the phone since his retirement. I will cherish the friendship we had. My prayers are with you and your family.

Mrs. Zimmerman,
Howard was a co-worker of mine and I can honestly say he will be truly missed. Howard always knew how to make you laugh, even when you were mad. I never met you but I know he truly loved you, because he used to talk about you all the time.
My prayers are with you and the family, and I will always remember his smile. Stay Stong and always remember the good times,it will get you through.

I supervised Howard a few years ago. You could always count on him to have a smile on his face. He always talked about his mom and spending time with her. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I convey my condolence to the family & friends of the late Howard Zimmerman. I too am a former coworker and will truly miss Howard for his sometimes "warped" humor (lol), his hearty laugh, his understated smarts, and our shared commonality of being Dallas Cowboys fans and growing up in "Da Deen"!
