Alma Cook Obituary

Alma Sue Cook CHESAPEAKE - Alma Sue Cook, 69, went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2009. She was born in Algoma, W.Va., the daughter of the late Freddy and Martha Byrd. Mrs. Cook was also predeceased by her grandson, Ronald Edward Cook III. Surviving Mrs. Cook are her five children, Ronald Cook Jr. and Robert Farr, Richard Cook and his wife Sherry, Cynthia Maley and her husband Pete, David Cook and his wife Chris, Jennifer Cunningham. Also surviving Mrs. Cook are her grandchildren, Tony Cook, Brittany Cook, Ryan Cook, Kaila Cook, Cassi Cunningham, Megan Cunningham and Haley Cook; and her sister Brenda Hamer. A memorial service to celebrate Alma's life will be held on her birthday, Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel.
