Mary Klotz Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Klotz NORFOLK - Mary Elizabeth Klotz, 80, of the 100 block of East Ocean Ave., passed away June 28, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Maier. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Klotz; a daughter, Karen Mechtel and her husband John of Norfolk; two sons, Christopher Klotz and his wife Teresa of Norfolk and Richard Klotz and his wife Rebecca of Virginia Beach; a daughter-in- law, Jean Klotz of Norfolk; a sister, Catherine Smith and her husband Vincent of Memphis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, David A. Klotz. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Daniel Beeman officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
