Mary Klotz

Mary Elizabeth Klotz NORFOLK - Mary Elizabeth Klotz, 80, of the 100 block of East Ocean Ave., passed away June 28, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Maier. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Klotz; a daughter, Karen Mechtel and her husband John of Norfolk; two sons, Christopher Klotz and his wife Teresa of Norfolk and Richard Klotz and his wife Rebecca of Virginia Beach; a daughter-in- law, Jean Klotz of Norfolk; a sister, Catherine Smith and her husband Vincent of Memphis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, David A. Klotz. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Daniel Beeman officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
