God saw that you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We couldn't make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Busy hands laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
It's lonesome here without you,
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same,
Since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday.
It has been a year since you went to Heaven, Larry, and we still miss you and think of you everyday. We love you very much. Until we meet again. Your Loving Sister Charlotte & Brother-in-Law Stan

This is Memorial Day week-end and I can't help but think of the memories you have left us. We love you very much, Larry, and always will. Thank you for your service to our country, first being in the Navy for 23 years and then 10 years in the Merchant Marines. It was an honour to call you my Brother. We thought of you today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday
And will tomorrow too.
We think of you in silence
And make no outward show,
For what it meant to lose you,
Only those who love you know.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it everyday.
It's the heartache of losing you,
That will never go away.
We love and miss you so very much. Happy Easter, our dearest Brother.

I have memories in my pocket,
They rattle among the change,
My memories of you are treasures
I carry wherever I go,
They are stored in bits and pieces,
parts of a beautiful whole,
They give me comfort when I
think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket,
like so much other stuff I keep there,
But of all the treasures I have,
It's the memories of you,
That are the most precious.
Rest in peace, our dear Brother Larry on your 62nd Birthday. We love you very much and think of you every day.

It is Christmas day and I can't help but think of you with loving memories. You are deeply missed, profoundly loved and always present in our hearts. Little did we know that morning, What sorrow the day would bring, Our loss was great,The shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear, We could not say our last good-bye, For you were gone before we knew and only God knows why. Rest in peace, our dear brother until we meet again.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Your loving Sister Charlotte & Brother-in-law Stan

Some of mMy earliest memoiries are of Larry and his brothers Artie and Carl, his sisters Charlotte, Lynn and Debbie and their family. Larry and Artie taught me how to play baseball, among other things. I haven't had the pleasure of knowing Larry since that time, but know that he was loved by his family and when I think of my childhood, he will always be a part of the good memories I have.

Larry,
We love you so much and miss you tremendously. You were my big brother and you were one of a kind, a treasure from God. I know that you are in Heaven and that gives me great comfort, where there is no sickness, no tears, no pain. I miss our phone conversations but I know God knows best and He needed another Angel to be with Him so He chose you. This will substain us until we see you again. Your loving Sister Charlotte & Brother-in-law Stan
