Josie Kissel Obituary

Josie Kissel CHESAPEAKE - Josie Kissel, 74, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 8, 2009. A native of Caguas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Leopoldo Castro and Arcadia Castro Borges. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Kissel; daughters, Valerie Jewell and Vanessa Kissel; son-in-law, Rand Jewell; granddaughter, Kelly Jewell; and brother, Dr. Jose R. Castro and his wife Nelly. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Gerri and Bob Jackson and their children Keith, Brian, Greg and Meghan Jackson who meant the world to her and became part of her family. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
