Troy Mattox Obituary

Troy Gray Mattox GATES - Troy Gray Mattox, 62, of Gates formerly of Wilson died Thursday, July 9, 2009. Mr. Mattox is survived by his wife, Diane Mattox and his mother, Nellie Mattox both of the home; two daughters, Angel Harvell and husband Billy of Edenton and Tienna Mattox of the home; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher and Deven; three brothers, Garland Mattox and wife Bertha of Lucama, Ray Mattox and wife Mary Ellen and David Mattox, all of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Mattox. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pastor Larry Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Joyner's Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Ray and Mary Ellen Mattox, 4020 Evansdale Road, Wilson.
