I just ran across this and sadden ... Stanley was one of a kind and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever known. He was in many ways a Dad to me and I've always missed playing drums and singing with him and his band. Rest In Peace!

Grandaddy,
I can honestly sit her today and say that you are truely my hero. You were the stongest person I had ever met. You were the best Grandaddy in the whole world and you still are. Kiersten still goes to your house wanting to come see you in your bedroom...she misses you a lot! We all do. We all love you sooo much, I dont think that there are any words to describe how much we love you. You lived the best life of anyone I know, and I am really proud to be your granddaughter. You are the most loving and kind hearted man i'll ever meet. I know that for a fact. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. I'll see you again in Heaven.

Granddad, you were without a doubt the most influential person in my life. You were always there for me when I needed you and you taught me more about life that anyone or anything that I know. You had a huge part in making me the man that I am today and I will miss the times that we had together that no one else knows about, both recent and long ago. I will do my best to raise my boys and teach them the same lessons that you taught me, and I know you will be looking over my shoulder in doing so. I am elated that you had the time to renew your relationship with Jesus and I know you are having a cigar with Him right now. I look forward to seeing in Heaven, keep my seat warm. I LOVE YOU!!!
