Patricia Smith Obituary

Patricia Ann Smith VIRGINIA BEACH - Patricia Ann Smith, 54, was reunited with her parents, Helen H. and Robert H. Smith Jr. on July 8, 2009. Born in Norfolk, she resided most of her life in Virginia Beach. Patty graduated with honors from Old Dominion University with a business degree. She was a member of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church. Her great loves were gardening, arts and crafts, the beach, her loving dog, Andy, and her eight nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sisters and their husbands, Kathleen S. and Peter Day, Mary S. and Scott Pritchett; a brother, Robert H. Smith III; nieces and nephews, Adam and Amy Day, Amy D. Powell; and great-niece, Coralyn Powell, Chris Smith, Lauren S. and Kenneth Herren, and Afton, Ashley, and Eric Pritchett. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday at noon at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Pittman officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or charity of the donor's choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 2002 Laskin Road, is handling arrangements.
