John Bradley Obituary

John W. Bradley Sr. CHESAPEAKE - John Walter "Jack" Bradley Sr., 81, of the 1300 block of Cricket Court, passed away Aug. 3, 2009, in Chesapeake. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late John J. and Anna Hoeck Bradley. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a computer programmer after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, June E. Bradley; a daughter, Jacquelynn Ann Hendrix and her husband Hugh of Lynchburg, Va.; a son, John W. Bradley Jr. and his wife Barbara of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Hugh Jacob Hendrix, Charles Hendrix, Arielle Hendrix and John W. Bradley III. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 500 E. Plume St., Norfolk, VA 23510 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Please share a memory with the family at grahamfuneralhome.com.
