Orian Dale Obituary

Orian C. Dale VIRGINIA BEACH - Orian C. Dale, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, in Fulton, N.Y. Born in Hampton to the late Robert and Lena Carter, Orian was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and a volunteer with Bayside Hospital. She was the beloved widow of Thurman W. Dale and is survived by her loving children: a daughter, Gwen A. Richards and husband Paul of Fulton, N.Y.; four sons, Thurman B. Dale and wife Carol of Virginia Beach, Wayne A. Dale and wife Cathy of Virginia Beach, Robert E. Dale and wife Mary of Boise, Idaho, and Donald B. Dale and partner Paul of Virginia Beach, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Fulton County Hospice Organization.
