Elizabeth Keogh Obituary

Elizabeth Anne Keogh NORFOLK - Elizabeth Anne Keogh passed away in her home Aug. 31, 2009, at the age of 52. A native of Norfolk, she was born Oct. 25, 1956, to Kathlyn Wittler Keogh and the late John Dwyer Keogh. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert James Keogh. In addition to her mother, Anne is survived by her sister, Kathleen Keogh Rahman and her husband Dr. James Rahman of Virginia Beach; her brothers, Timothy John Keogh and his wife Denise of Charleston, S.C., John Joseph Keogh and his wife Margaret Herring of Corvallis, Ore.; and her sister-in-law, Mary Grissom Keogh of Norfolk. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, as well as a great-nephew and -niece. Anne was a graduate of Granby High School and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She was an avid bowler with the ICHI Bowling League and an active member at the Therapeutic Recreation Center of Norfolk. Anne was also a graduate of the Louise W. Eggleston Center. Friends of the family are invited to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Wednesday, Sept. 2. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6400 Newport Ave., Norfolk, VA 23505 or to Medi Home Health & Hospice, 112B Eden Way North, Chesapeake, VA 23320. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be offered to the family through hdoliver.com.
