Wanda Carden Obituary

Wanda E. Carden VIRGINIA BEACH - Wanda Edith Carden, 92, passed away Aug. 30, 2009, in a local hospital. Mrs. Carden was formerly of Taylor, Pa., and was the wife of the late David James Carden, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception in Taylor. She was the past president of the Polish Falcons of America No. 127. She moved to Virginia Beach to be with her family and became a member of the Church of the Holy Family. She is survived by her son, John Carden and his wife Barbara of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Ron Carden and his wife Tammy of Virginia Beach, John Carden and his wife, Leah of Virginia Beach, and David Carden, also of Virginia Beach; and four great- grandchildren, Kristin Carden, Mackensi Carden, Ryan Carden, and Tyler Carden. A funeral Mass will be held in the Church of the Holy Family Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.hdoliver.com.
