Frederick Radley Sr.

Frederick Radley Sr. CHESAPEAKE - Frederick William Radley Sr., 68, of the 1600 block of Stone Moss Reach, passed away Sept. 4, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Boston, and raised in Quincy, Mass., he was the son of the late Thomas and Louise Radley. He retired from the United States Navy after 27 years of service. He also retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a rigger. He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Radley; two sons, Frederick W. Radley Jr. and his wife Lisa of La Peer, Mich., and Donald Radley of Chester, N.Y.; three stepchildren, Melinda Spicer and husband Lonnie of Currituck, N.C., William Browning of Moyock, N.C., and Jeffrey Browning and wife Toi of Eagle River, Alaska; a sister, Eleanor Mead of Quincy, Mass.; a brother, Edward Radley of Quincy; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
