Thanks for the memories...Russell and the West family hold a special place in our hearts full of wonderful memories of the years we lived in Ivor.
Our first new furniture was purchased at Ivor Furniture Store and he gave Bob a job at Christmas time, so we could get bikes for all the kids from Santa. Church, I can't remember a time he was not there. Sunday evening for training union or church service, prayer meeting. You had a wonderful Dad girls and as you know Maryann, a loving husband. May the Great Comforter be with you in days to come and know that He will see you through.

My deepest sympathy to all the family in the loss of your dear loved one. I remember buying my furniture there when I was first married back in Dec. l958. I just fell in love with Mr. West and I told my mother about what a wonderful person he was. From then on, she bought all her furniture, appliances, etc. from him, as I have also. He was truly
"one of a kind" and he will be greatly missed by so many, many people. His entire family can be proud that he was your husband, father, and grandfather. May God bring you comfort at this most sad
time in your lives.
Most sincerely,

Evelyn Lewis (Britt) Pillsbury - Waverly, VA

It was with great sadness that we read of the passing of our friend, Russell, in this morning's Daily Press. So many wonderful memories of the two years we shared at the Ivor Baptist Church. A deacon who was always there for ministry and support, and the knowledge that he would always be a friend. The super bowl parties at the furniture store, the hunting trips for Irvin, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you Mary Anne, the family and your friends in these difficult days. May the words of Paul comfort you; "We grieve but not as those who have no hope!" In His love, Annette and Irvin
