Ruby Mathias

Ruby Mathias CHESAPEAKE - Ruby Mathias, 68, of the 800 block of Johnstown Road, passed away Sept. 25, 2009, in her home. A native of Norfolk County, she was the daughter of the late Rutter and Louise McPherson. She is survived by her husband, Albert E. Mathias; her daughter, Peggy Davis and husband Rick of Chesapeake; four sisters, Margaret Tyndell, Janie Mathias, Barbara Battle, all of Chesapeake and Nancy Kight of Barco, N.C.; and a granddaughter, Caroline Davis. She was predeceased by two sisters, Eva Leigh Nunziata and Edna Miller; and a brother, Sidney McPherson. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel.
