Rose Ferki Obituary

Rose M. Ferki FRANKLIN - Rose Man Ferki, 81, passed away Sept. 24, 2009, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and was a daughter of the late Francis and Justina Man. Mrs. Ferki was a former resident of Murfreesboro, N.C. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Joseph M. Ferki; two daughters, Diane Sly (Joe) of Chandler, Ariz., and Regina Small of McDavid, Fla.; four sons, R. Bruce Ferki (Sherry) of Portsmouth, Brian M. Ferki (Julia) and their children, Zofia and Eliot of Charlottesville, Va., Joseph J. Ferki (Norma) of Franklin, Va., and Francis M. Ferki of Palmyra, Va. Mrs. Ferki was predeceased by a son, Michael A. Ferki. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Wright Funeral Home with Father Charles Saglio officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
