Norman, Roxanne, Debbie, and Jeremy: My sincerest condolences on the loss of Larry. I never saw Larry that he didn't have a big smile and happy greeting for all. I think back now and realize I have known him for over 31 years, and I will miss that smile and greeting, as will our entire office staff.

I was shocked to hear about Larry aka Thunderbird to me. I was Strawberry to him. We met in the trucking business. He always had a smile and a hug. He always talked about his son and daughter. He was a proud father. You knew which dump truck he drove. He had large VT lettering on the side. He work the drivers with girl scout cookie sales for his daughter. We sought him out for them when the time came as if they were a drug. Even after he left trucking, he still had that smile and wave whenever I saw him. We just laughed when we saw each other-don't know why though but we just did. He warmed my heart. My prayers go out to the family. I will miss that red car and that smile.

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of your loved one, Larry.
I've known Larry only since he started working as an employee with RCS - Smithfield.
It didn't take long to figure out what a likeable person he was.
He made friends with all he came in contact with. He and I enjoyed talking politics!
He talked on a daily basis about his son and daughter and we all knew they were the light of his life!
I will miss Larry very much. His personality was so warm and he made me laugh!
You are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be so in the days ahead.

This is a shock. Larry, or "Dump" as he was affectionately known by some, was a wonderful human being. We met while playing on some pick-up tournament softball trams in our early twenties, then served together for several years on the Board of Directors of Hampton Wythe Little League. Larry was great with the kids. There are many young men and young ladies who were profoundly affected by, and will dearly miss "Coach Larry." My deepest condolences to Debbie and Jeremy. My God bless and keep you old friend, and take you to his bosom.

Larry was one great guy- we will miss him. His love for youth sports endeared him to us, especially when he came to football games at Isle of Wight Academy to watch our son play. His support and enthusiastic attitude was an encouragement to all. Our prayers go out to not only to his relatives, but to his sports family as well.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family at this time. We got to know him when he coached at Hampton Wythe Little League. He was one of the best coaches during my tenure with the organization and he truely had the children's best interests at heart. He will be missed.
