Clarence Perry Obituary

Clarence E. Perry Sr. PORTSMOUTH - Clarence E. Perry Sr., 87, of the 1500 block of Darren Circle, passed away Oct. 9, 2009, in his residence. Born in Portsmouth, he retired after 39 years with the Portsmouth School System. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mae D. Perry; two sons, Clarence E. Perry Jr., Randy Kian (Darlene); three grandchildren, Twilya McNeal, Nikkia Kiah and Johnathan Kitt; one great- grandchild, Princess Knight; nieces, nephews, four sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Friday at noon in First Baptist Church, South Portsmouth, with the Rev. Warren Amlet presiding. Burial will be held in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin today at noon. The family will be in the residence. The body will be in the church Friday at 11 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham St., Portsmouth, is in charge. www.fisherfuneral.com.
