Roger White Obituary

Roger Lee White Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Roger Lee White Jr., 20, passed from this life Oct. 10, 2009, in Piedmont, S.C. He was born Nov. 2, 1988 at Virginia Beach General Hospital. Roger Lee is survived by his daughter, Kandyce Nicole White, 11 months old; parents, Roger White Sr. and Eleanor White; grandmothers, Margaret Jackson and Norena White; sister, Kelly Hughes; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of extended family in South Carolina. Roger Lee was a man of many smiles. He was a wonderful daddy and friend to many. Roger Lee, you will truly be missed. "I love you tall as the sky, deep as the sea, and round as the world." The family will receive friends at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home today, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Following the service, the family will receive friends at their home located at 573 Saddlerock Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the custodian account for Kandyce Nicole White and will be accepted at any Wachovia Bank. I knew this young man from Rogers Tire and Auto,ALWAYS ALWAYS HE A was SO nice,courteous and professional in servicing my car.
TRULY I am saddened and shocked and hurt for you all.
I extend sympathies to his DAD,Whom I also know from the store.and his entire family.May God Give you "the peace that passeth all understanding".

So sorry to hear of Lee's death. We are former neighbors of his Dad, Roger, and meet him when he lived with him in Piedmont. We are praying for the family and for his dear daughter.
