Queen White Obituary

Queen E. White NORFOLK - On Oct. 15, 2009, God called home one of his angels, Queen Esther Parker White. Born May 14, 1918, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar White; and sons, William and Reginald. She leaves to her memory her daughters, Marian Foxworth (Calvin), Ophelia Shambly, Delores Birke (Joseph), Mable White, Patricia Weaver (Herman) and Barbara White; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and caring friends. A viewing will be held Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service and the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 19, at noon in New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
