Cheryl Skinner Obituary

Cheryl Denise Skinner NORFOLK - Elder Cheryl Denise Skinner, 51, of the 6700 block of Partridge St., was caught up with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. She was born Aug. 1, 1958 to the late Erma Lee Saunders in Norfolk. She worked as a nursing assistant for Lydia Roper Adult Home. She is survived by her husband, Paul Skinner; four daughters, Chiquita, Leslie, Ashley and Alison; two grandsons, Treyvon and David; her father, William Saunders; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Wednesday in Good Shepherd International Miracle Center, 157 Morrison Ave. The Bishop Howard Gales Sr., D.D., Ph.D. will officiate. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel, is in charge. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
