Wayne was a true friend, we were in high school together, and on the west coast while in the Army. He looked out for me and I'll alway be thankful for his friendship.

To the Battle family
I am truly happy that I had the opportunity to spent time with Wayne when he came home and share some old experiences, strengths and hopes with him. Wayne was truly a great listerner and friend. He is greatly missed.
