Bernard Davis Obituary

Bernard S. Davis NORFOLK - Bernard S. Davis, 54, passed away Oct. 18, 2009. He was the son of Ruby Davis and the late Ernest Whitaker. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughter, Bianca (Floyd); two brothers, five sisters, six grandchildren and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Kevin, and a sister. A celebration of his life will be held at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church at noon Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009. I really know that Bernard is singing to the Glory of God leading the choirs in Heaven ,like he led the choirs here on earth.Bernard embraced his ability to lift the Spirit up and out of so many souls ,and he will be missed.Bernard set the standard of truly Rejoicing and give God the Praise and Glory through song...Peace and Blessings to the Davis Family for sharing this awesome man of God with MGMBC.

I am so very sorry to hear of Bernard's unexpected passing. He was so kind and always spoke with such affection about his family. May you find comfort that he's with the Lord now.
