Marian Forehand

Marian G. Forehand CHESAPEAKE - Marian Goodrich Forehand, 87, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in Suffolk. A native of Claremont, Va., she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Forehand Sr.; her first husband, Norman D. Goodrich Sr.; and a brother, Allen Horsfall. She was a member of West Park Church of Christ and was an avid gardener. Survivors include a daughter, Lynn G. Coates and husband Wade of Chesapeake; two sons, Norman D. Goodrich Jr. and wife Claudia of Portsmouth and Larry T. Goodrich and wife Hope of Chesapeake; a stepdaughter, Sue Ann Adinolfi; two stepsons, Don Forehand and Melvin L. Forehand Jr.; a sister, Virginia L. Rollings of Hampton; a brother, John Harvey Horsfall of Hopewell; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Mr. Keith Lewis. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
