Margaret Mollohan Obituary

Margaret B. Mollohan YORKTOWN - Margaret Brookshire Mollohan, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009. She was born in Hendersonville, N.C., to the late Ernest and Amy Brookshire. A resident of Virginia Beach for many years, Margaret retired from Piedmont Airlines in 1980 and made her home in Yorktown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cameron Mollohan Jr., two sisters and a brother. Mrs. Mollohan is survived by her sons, Dr. Richard McAdam (Frankye) of Yorktown and Ronald McAdam of Marshville, N.C. She was lovingly known to her six grandchildren, Brooks McAdam, Kingsley McAdam, Jason McAdam, Cameron McAdam, Amy McAdam, Alison McAdam Belk (Jamie); and great-grandson, Lucas, as "Bye". She is also survived by her sister, Jean B. Geiger (Bill) and five nieces and nephews. The family extends a special and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Morningside, Newport News, the Bon Secours Hospice team, and her many friends at Colonial Harbor, Yorktown, for their loving care and friendship. The family will receive friends at the home of her son in Yorktown today at 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.

I will always remember the good times we had when we went to breakfast and also just browsing the stores with her and Audrey. She was a lovely lady and I will always remember her and miss her. Sincerely, Bettie McDaniel
