One more thing I just realized.
After ten wonderful years of an Angel by my side, The silent ring of my cell phone is deafening.

Tami, Terri, Toby, and Tonya.

I'm still numb and heartbroken at the premature loss of your Mom 'Honey'
Words can't explain just how Great, awesome, and amazing a lady Julie was.
As you're aware, I had the privilege and honor to get to know Julie very well the past ten years. I loved helping her with the computer, she was such a sponge in wanting to learn all she could and she did. Her class web pages are professional. We never missed a day, night or both that we didn't Talk to each other weather in person or on cell phones for hours and never ran out of things to say or discuss. "AMAZING"
I could fill the entire web site with all the wonderful things and Great times we had. One thing she and I loved to do was go to Williamsberg with her two little Yorkshires Corky and Baby. We all had a blast.
And the time we went to Chrysler Hall to see Johnny Mathis, I had more fun watching her watch Mathis than If I had watched Mathis myself. She was just so full of life.
Please accept my sincere heartfelt sympathies at this time and know you are not alone with a void in your heart. For now let me just say,
Angles do exist but sometimes they don't have wings---we call them friends.
That's exactly what Julie was to me, an Angle, a companion, my best friend.
You girls can be very proud and feel sooooo lucky that you had Honey for your Mom, you had the best.

It was such a shock to hear of your mother's passing. I didn't know her in school to well even though we were in the same class. I have gotten to know her in the last few years thru the web and the phone calls. She was such a pleasant person to talk to. She did a wonderful job on the web site for all of us. She was a mother that you girls and family can be very proud of. My heart and prays goes out to you all.

Dear Traub Family, I didn't know Julie well, for I graduated with your Dad. Dave played first Trombone in the CLHS Band I played third. He was a great guy, as you know, and so was your mom who became such a blessing to so many CLHS grads. Thanks for sharing so much of her with us. Bob Thompson, CLHS'57

Remembering Julie from my high school days, it was a pleasure to exchange emails with her once I submitted my profile for the CLHS class of 1962 web site. She was always very positive and helpful, and seeing her this summer was great fun. Her contribution to bringing so many classmates together was appreciated, as she learned at the reunion this past summer. She is already greatly missed, we are all sorry for your, and our, loss.

To Julie's family,
I was in the CLHS class of 57. Dave was a classmate of mine. Your mom did such an excellent job on the all CLHS website. Wow. So many memories she made alive to us all. I am so thankful that she was able to attend the reunion that she helped organize this past summer. It was neat to meet her in person in our adult lives and to be able to thank her personally for all her dedicated work to the webste. Also, Tami, it was nice to meet you as well. My sympathy and prayers are with your family.

To Julie's family - I am a member of the Clear lake class of 1956. Julie opened up a wonderful world of memories and connections for me with her love for our website. In our communications while "tweaking" my page, we had fun talking about our parents' friendship over the years. They were part of the Whiffenpoofs group (just social friends) which got together monthly at someone's home for cocktails and then dinner out. The group would gather around the piano and sing lots of songs. Julie and I enjoyed that simple memory of a time long gone. My sympathy to your family. Judy Lerdal Somers

Tami - Toby - Tonya and Teri. Your mother spoke of her family ofter. She loved the going out to dinners and any other form of intertainment with her "girls". I am shocked and deeply saddened. When you called, Iwas in the Airondacks taking photo's of the foliage for your Mom. I shall miss our "chats" dearly.
Love to all your families from Mom's on line buddy.

To the Traub family
I went to school with your dad and also knew your mother from there and from all the work she did on the web sites. Julie was the special person that with her dream brought us all closer and back to a time when the world was a kinder gentler place. Julie personified that in her selfless dedication to the CLHS website. I will never forget the late night emails that came in asking for PPT. help or thanking me for some submittal to the website. Julie brought the best of us and then put it on a website for the rest to see. There is a special place in our hearts for her and now she has been reunited with Dave. God bless you all.

Tami, Teri, Toby and Tonya,
I enjoyed having the privilege to "talk" to your mom in e-mails.
She really did alot for all of the CLHS
graduates by keeping us together. I know you will miss her and so will all of us. Just remember that God loves you all.

Dear girls and family,
I never got to meet your mother in person; but, through emails with her over the years for the CLHS website she was a loving caring person. I miss being able to communicate with her already.
Just remember the fond memories you have had with her.
May God bless each of you through this time of sadness.

Dear Children and family of Julie...
I have known your mother since she was just a youngster. My parents, Mr.
& Mrs. Curly Hintzman, were very very
good friends of your grandparents, Bob and Nadine Hayden....they ran around together in a large group of friends, who, in those days because we didn't have TV, would get together and go to dinner and sing at someones house....they called themselves the
Whiffenpoofs!!
Of course I lost track of Julie when I left town, but was so pleased to have had her "pop" into our lives and create the CLHS Class of 56 site. It was fun "talking" to her, reminising,as she graduated with my sister, Linda (Hintzman) Counsell.
Her death was such a shock, and we all will miss her very much!
In memory, Diane (Hintzman) Guinn

The thoughts and prayers of many CLHS Alumni are with you during this difficult time. So many of us enjoyed our time with your mother online and meeting and visiting with her last summer at the CLHS Website Reunion. Julie was a dear friend, a very giving person and a joy to work together with on her special project - Clear Lake High School classes web site. She was also the wife of one of my oldest friends David Traub also deceased. Julie will be missed beyond belief and in her capacity of our classes web mistress, she will unfortunately be almost impossible to replace.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with her family ..

I "found" your mother after many years through the CLB\HA website. Your Dad is my cousin. My parents are Don and Myra Eastman. They must be having one heck of a family reunion now!

Your Mom and I so enjoyed our memories of Clear Lake childhoods. We e-mailed often. She will be missed by so many. She was such a loving person.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. I knew Julie to be a very caring and giving being who will be sorely missed. She has given much added quality of life to CLHS graduates and I'm sure many others and has been a personal friend. I will miss her so much.

To the Traub family...

I felt like I'd lost a friend even though I hadn't met Julie in person. We corresponded through the CLHS website for several years. She and her parents were friends of the Wisgerhof family of which I eventually became a member. I appreciate all she has done for Clear Lake alumni. Her memory will live through all she has done for us. Take care.
