I have known Charlie for about 43 years and in all that time I never heard him say an unkind word. Charlie always had a smile and could make you laugh without trying. He was an upstanding citizen and an asset to his community. He will be missed by everyone that ever had the priviledge of knowing him. This world was a better place for having had Charlie for so many years but now it is his time to rest. May you find comfort in your memories of this special man. Your family is in my thoughts and my prayers. "His journey has just begun"

When I passed thru South Mills today, I noticed the wreath on the station door. Somehow I knew who it was. I have some very fond memories of Charlie. Many years ago I visited Charlie's station when I drove a grain truck. I was one of the very few women who drove at that time.It was me and my husband that ran together all the time. Charlie was always such a pleasant man.I know he will so be missed. Heaven is smiling to have such a fine man! To Live in Hearts left behind....is not to die. God be with you and your family to supply the strength that you will need . Remembering your family in my prayers.
