EDDIE AND FAMILY, WE WANTED TO SAY HOW VERY SORRY WE WERE TO LEARN ABOUT MR. CARTWRIGHT. WE KNOW YOU ARE HURTING AND WE WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING WE COULD SAY THAT WOULD MAKE IT ALRIGHT, BUT ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT. YOUR DAD WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND SURLY WILL BE MISSED. AM GLAD HE WAS MY FRIEND.

This world was a better place for having had Charlie for so many years but now it is his time to rest. May you find comfort in your memories of this special man. Your family is in my thoughts...
