Marie...I met U many yrs. ago @ your Mom's house..also, think I met your dog, Drucilla? & saw her often. I know Clare told me U were a professional dancer, & had had some trouble w/your knees....she was Very proud of you. I also knew of Akwa's illness, & subsequent recovery... I always inquire about the dear ole fella as my niece helps volunteer 4 EquiKids & C's him often. (Actually knew Akwa & his mom, Bey, when they were @ Cashvans B-4 Clare & Danny bought him.
Do not want 2 pry, but I knew that she & Danny had done scuba diving many times B-4....what was the cause of the accident that later took her life? Hard 2 believe the mermaid is gone. I would love 2 have a pic of her, maybe 1 from when she was riding @ 1 of the horse shows we went to?

We as a family will forever mourn the loss of this great spirit, I am her daughter and will do my best to honor her life and always make her proud. She loved life and in my heart I know she lives on. With her passing my innocence was lost, yet my strength, compassion and gratefulness for life has grown. Fly free beautiful Moma, be all that you are, I miss you always, love, your girl, Marie

It is w/great sorrow that I read of Clare's passing. Clare was a long time riding student of mine on 2 of her horses, Trisket & Tilly, as well as sharing Akwa w/me 2 help wean my Arabian colt. We went 2 many dressage shows, & she also went trail riding every chance she got! One thing that always struck someone who knew Clare...whatever sport, or new endeavor she took on, she did it w/a Total Zest 4 life! When she retired, & bought a camper, & went on a "photo safari", I placed Akwa (her favorite & 1st Arabian) w/Equi-kids...he was about 26 or 27 yrs. old then , so now he is quite an old & loved gentleman w/the children who adore him & the people who make his golden years happy!
So sorry that this so "alive" person is gone. Judie Hall
