William Eure Obituary

Henry Eure GATESVILLE - William Henry Eure Jr., 50, of 204 Academy St., died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in his home. Henry was a native of Gates County and was the son of William H. "Bill" Eure Sr. and Ellen Owens Eure of Gatesville. A loader operator in logging, he was a member of Gatesville United Methodist Church, the Gatesville Hunt Club, and the Gatesville Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patty Lister Eure; two sons, Ben Eure and Jerry Eure; and a stepdaughter, Kristen Derrickson, all of Gatesville; and his sister, Alta Eure Blowe and husband Randy of Cofield. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Gatesville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tracy Clayton and the Rev. Gene Asbill. A private committal will be held at a later time. Friends may join the family at the residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gatesville United Methodist Church, Gatesville, NC 27938, University Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, NC 27910 or to any chapter of the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.millerfhc.com.

I FOR GOT THE CHILDREN OF HENRY DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT I AM SO SORRY FOR YOU LOSS OF YOUR FATHER,I KNOW YOU GOING TO MISS HIM THE MOST. YOUR GRANDFATHERS WILL BE THERE GO FISHING &HUNTING. GOD IS ALWAYS THERE JUST ASK AND HE WILL BE THERE.GRANDMAS THERE TOO BEST FOOOD. WE LOVE YOU ALL

I am so sorry to here of Henry's passing, your husband, yourson, and yourbrother. He is with God Now No more Pain. God is with you . He will help you through these days and months and years of great loss and difficult time. We LOVE YOU IF THERE IS ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS TIME LET US KNOW.
