Sally Rankin

Sally B. Rankin NORFOLK - Sally Blankenship Rankin, 66, of the 3500 block of Peronne Ave., passed away Nov. 2, 2009 in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Lewis G. and Inez B. Blankenship. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Walter H. Rankin; her daughter, Susan Rankin and husband Chip Smith of Herndon, Va.; her son, Scott Rankin of Norfolk; and two grandsons, Cameron Combs and Clayton Smith. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. A reception will follow at 1432 Gates Ave., Norfolk.
