Gregory Pierce Obituary

Gregory Stephen Pierce PORTSMOUTH - Gregory Stephen Pierce passed away Nov. 2, 2009, after a long illness. He is survived by his mother, Leola Beavers Pierce and was predeceased by his father, Woodley Wilson Pierce. He was a licensed Realtor. He had his own business, Pry-Vate Investigative Services Inc. He co-founded The Covered Bridge Society of Virginia with his mother, Leola Pierce. He loved to go to special events. His hobby was photography. Services will be private. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling the arrangements.

I was saddened to read of Steve's passing. I really enjoyed my long association with him in many different areas. He was always a good friend and interested in everything that was going on in his life and others. I will never forget his many kindnesses. My thoughts are with you at your time of loss.

Words cannot express my sorrow for your lose. Steve was a unique person and I am very glad that I had the opportunity to know him. He will be missed by all those that truly knew him like I did.
