Revie Kirkpatrick PORTSMOUTH - Revie "KIRK" Kirkpatrick, 63, was suddenly called home to the Lord Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. Born Nov. 28, 1945, in Jackson, Miss. Kirk settled in Virginia in 1976 and was married to his beloved wife, Jackie, in July 1977. Kirk worked for Goodyear Inc. until the summer of 1982, when he and the family settled in Portsmouth. Both Kirk and Jackie retired in January of this year and began living their retirement dream - traveling up and down the east coast in their motor home. Along with his wife, Kirk leaves to cherish many wonderful memories: daughters, Tana Brewer and her husband Dan and Angela Logwood and her husband Bryan; a son, William Dorsey and his wife Renee; four granddaughters, Alana, Sara, Stephanie and Monica; three grandsons, Zane, Aidan and Jonathan; two brothers, Don Kirkpatrick and Richard Kirkpatrick and his wife Betsy, all of Mississippi; and a host of family and friends including many new friends he and Jackie made during their travels. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Friends and family will gather thereafter at the home of William and Renee Dorsey, 405 Anndora Road, Portsmouth.
