Neill Hildreth Marsh PORTSMOUTH - Neill Hildreth Marsh, 93, passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009. He was a native of Fayetteville, N.C., a devoted member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church where he served as a former Sunday school teacher and Deacon Emeritus. He retired as an electronic technician at Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 38 years of service. Mr. Marsh was the widower of the late Irene O. Marsh. He is survived by his son, Neill T. Marsh; three grandchildren, Tommy Marsh, Todd Marsh, and Kristen Marsh DePue; five great-grandchildren, Katie Pearson, Brent Marsh, Ame Marsh, Victoria Faulkner and Matthew DePue. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Port Norfolk Baptist Church by the Rev. Terry Taylor and Dr. Ector L. Hamrick with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and they suggest memorial contributions to the General Fund of Port Norfolk Baptist Church.
