Walter Ermakow Obituary

Walter Ermakow RALEIGH - Walter Ermakow, 82, of 8500 Averell Court, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009. According to his wishes, his ashes will be buried at sea. Walter was born in 1927 in New York City and joined the Navy in 1946. Walter served honorably in the Navy for 30 years, having initially served aboard the USS North Carolina. He was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach before moving to Raleigh in June 2009. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Josephine; his daughter, Patricia Jakobs; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Dearest Josie,
Alicia, Ariana and I were saddened to hear of Walt's passing. We will always cherish the fond memories that we have of him as you saw the girls grow up.

Dear Josie and Pat,
We were so saddened to hear of Walt's passing. He was so much a part of lives through the years, the fond memories of Walt will remain with us forever. Now he and Dad are together again... God Bless and keep you both.
