Anne Roundtree Obituary

Anne B. Roundtree SUFFOLK - Anne Bradshaw Roundtree, daughter of the late Allene P. and Clinton O. Bradshaw, died Nov. 9, 2009, at Lake Prince Woods. She retired from Lakeview Medical Center after 48 years of service. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church where she served as teacher and superintendent of the Primary department, former member of the choir, and former secretary of the Executive Board and Church Conference. Anne was a member of the Suffolk Women's Club, the Christian Women's Breakfast Club and of the former Suffolk Business and Professional Women's Club. She also served as a tutor for the Suffolk Literacy Council Survivors include several cousins. A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Rev. Michael D. Halley with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Suffolk Christian Church, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad.
