I cannot express how much Aunt Pokey will be missed. She was always a bright star in my life. I have so many memories of wonderful times with her and Uncle Clyde. I can only rest easy knowing that they are once again together. So until I see you again Aunt Poke, I'll always be thinking of you!!!

JOHNNY & DAVID,
IT IS WITH SADNESS I READ OF "AUNT POLK" PASSING TODAY. IF IT WERE NOT FOR AUNT POLK I WOULD STILL BE SITTING ON THE BATHROOM POTTY OF THE SEAR'S DISPLAY! SHE WAS VERY DEAR TO ME AND I HAVE SO MANY FOND MEMORIES OF HER. SHE MADE ME SEVERAL DRESSES WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND I SPENT MANY HOURS AT YOUR HOUSE. SHE WAS A SECOND MOTHER TO ME.
SINCE MOVING TO FARMVILLE, VA MOM, JEAN, AND I HAVE THOUGHT OF HER OFTEN.
SHE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART. SUSIE DOBBS

The Heavens above received another Angel today as our Grandmother was laid to rest. Family and friends came to pay their last respects. I will miss her and always cherish my childhood memories as a kid going into the cookie jar and seeing what kind of cookie I was about to eat.

What a wonderful lady, it was truly a gift to have known her. The gentleman and ladies that we cherish are becoming few far and between. They didnt call it the greatest generation for nothing.I know she will rest in peace , she is with Clyde.

Your Grandmother was one of the most warm hearted, loving people I have ever known. She was so good to me for all of the years that I was privileged to know her. I am thankful that she will no longer suffer and is finally resting in peace and love with her Clyde.
