Earl Foote Obituary

Earl Foote Sr. CHESAPEAKE - On Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Mr. Earl Roland Foote Sr. passed. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Foote. He was born in Norfolk on March 8, 1921. He was predeceased by two sisters and two grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Alma V. Foote of 64 years; two daughters, Dorthy Kennedy of Philadelphia; five sons, Earl Foote Jr., Leon Foote, LeAndrew Foote, Jerome Foote, Reginald Foote; and one daughter, Pamela Foote Lassiter, all of Chesapeake; one sister, Melvise Taborn of Norfolk; one brother, Larry Robinson of Chesapeake; three daughters-in-law, four sisters-in-law, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by dear and close friends of many years. A special thanks to the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. A funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, at noon at New Hope United Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Dear Mrs. Alma, Reginald & Family
I was very sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Foote I transported Mr. Foote from Dialysis several times and each time his conversation was about family and Mrs Alma good cooking. He was very proud of all of you and Mrs. Alma I will always remember you waiting to welcome your HUSBAND home with open arms and a very warm smile.
