Carol Ann Johnson

Carol A. Johnson VIRGINIA BEACH - Carol Ann Johnson, 50, loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend, passed into eternal life Nov. 16, 2009. Carol was born in Norfolk. She was employed with the Virginia Beach Public School System for 33 years, most recently as a bookkeeper. She was loved by anyone she had ever met and enjoyed reading and scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Buckner and a niece, Whitley. Survivors include her husband of nine years, Kevin Charles Johnson; her mother, Helen Lucille Buckner of Virginia Beach; a brother, Samuel Mark Buckner and wife Sandra of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Joy Orcutt and husband Steven of North Bend, Wash.; Bonnie Fujimoto and husband Steve of Virginia Beach; nieces and nephews, Brian, Amy, Amanda, Rebecca, Annabelle, Samantha, Whitney, Mackenzie, Elaine, Brady and Carly. Also surviving are Kevin's parents, Chuck and Eileen Johnson of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; his brother, Darren Johnson and wife JoAnn of Lacey, Wash.; Scott Johnson and wife Marie of Renton, Wash.; Brent Johnson and Christy of Puyallup, Wash.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home where a celebration of life service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Fred Devan.
