Suzann Landphair Obituary

Suzann L. Landphair VIRGINIA BEACH - Suzann L. Landphair passed Nov. 15, 2009. She was born Suzann Lorraine Donahue Dec. 24, 1950, in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a school office employee for more than 10 years for Virginia Beach Public Schools at Pembroke Elementary. During her tenure she was PTA president multiple times, PTA officer, yearbook coordinator, and staff critic/supporter. She was also a Girl Scout Leader and served at countless cookie booths. She began work as a keypunch operator, went to COBOL programming and back to in-home data entry when her daughter was young. She stood as a 20-year Navy wife. She is survived by mother, Ann Donahue of Ridge Manor, Fla.; husband, John M. Landphair of Virginia Beach; daughter, Jana Ann Landphair of Virginia Beach; brother, Philip Donahue of East Aurora, N.Y.; sister, Rebecca Ann Dalton of Panama; many nieces and nephews in several states. Suzann was a caring friend, loving mother and will be deeply missed. Donations, in lieu of flowers, made in her name to the American Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
