Donald Williamson Obituary

Donald M. Williamson Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Donald M. Williamson Jr., 52, passed away Nov. 18, 2009. He was born in Baltimore Jan. 7, 1957, and was a resident of Sneads Ferry, N.C. Don served his country for six years in the United States Navy and continued his career as a regional engineer with the Central Intelligence Agency retiring with 29 years of service. Among his hobbies were sailing and riding his motorcycle. He was also a licensed pilot and scuba diver. Don was a graduate of Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Va. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son and brother. Don will be missed not only by his family, but by everyone who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 29 years, Deborah W. Williamson of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; daughters, Ashton D. Williamson and Chelsea A. Williamson; parents, Donald and Dolly Williamson of Belleview, Fla.; brothers, Steve K. Williamson and wife Teresa of Overland Park, Kan., and Jeff A. Williamson and wife Diane of Warrenton, Va.; grandmother, Audra Brogan of Beckley, W.Va.; father and mother-in-law, Paul D. and Joan R. Wildman of Virginia Beach and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral will follow at noon. Burial will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. You may offer condolences to the family at www.mem.com.
