Mary Rogers Obituary

Mary A. Rogers NORFOLK - Mary A. Rogers, 87, passed away Nov. 24, 2009. Mary was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and visited Courtland Baptist Church. She was very supportive of Christian charitable benefits. She was a native of Augusta County, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Russell Rogers; eight children; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at noon Friday and services will be held at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
