Patricia Barham Obituary

Patricia B. Barham CHESAPEAKE - Patricia B. Barham, 64, of Ivy Stone Way, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009. Born in the Hickory section of Old Norfolk County, she was the daughter of Donna Faye Brickhouse and the late Harry J. Brickhouse. Patricia graduated from Great Bridge High School, Class of 1964. She was a caretaker to many and loved children and pets. She was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy, Portsmouth. Including her mother, Patricia is survived by her husband, Noah L. Barham; two brothers, Edward E. Brickhouse and Sidney R. Brickhouse; two sisters, Brenda G. Slack and Beverly J. Straser; two nephews, Mark Copeland and Jerry Barham; as well as numerous special friends. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at The Church of God of Prophecy, 5080 Greenwood Drive, Portsmouth. Pastor William A. Paramore Jr. will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Viewing will begin Sunday with the family receiving friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a health foundation or church of your choice. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at www. omanfh.com.
